How to Track iPhone Duo Stock in Canada and Get Restock Alerts

Apple’s first foldable iPhone launches on Friday, October 23, 2026, and finding one is going to take some work.
Online orders in Canada are now showing February 2027 delivery dates, Apple has capped orders at two per customer, and resellers are asking several times the retail price on eBay.
That leaves in-store pickup as the best shot at getting an iPhone Duo this year, whether you’re in Canada or the US. Here are the ways to track stock, from Apple’s own tools to a free site that checks every Apple Store for you.
How much is the iPhone Duo in Canada and the US?
The iPhone Duo comes in two colours, Star White and Night Sky, and four storage sizes. Here’s what Apple charges before tax:
- 256GB: $2,999 CAD / $1,999 USD
- 512GB: $3,299 CAD / $2,199 USD
- 1TB: $3,899 CAD / $2,599 USD
- 2TB: $4,799 CAD / $3,199 USD
That’s eight possible combinations, which matters when you’re hunting for stock, because pickup availability is tracked per colour and per size. You can read more about Canadian pricing and how the exchange rate compares in our earlier coverage.
How do you check iPhone Duo pickup availability on Apple’s website?
Apple’s own pickup check is the official source, and every other tool relies on the same data. Here’s how it works on Apple’s Canadian iPhone Duo store or the US iPhone Duo store:
- Choose your colour and storage size.
- Look for Pickup: Check availability on the product page and click it.
- Enter your postal code, ZIP code or city, then tap Search Stores.
- If a nearby store shows the model as available, select I’ll pick it up at checkout.
The Apple Store app on iPhone works the same way and saves your preferred store, which makes repeat checks quicker. According to Apple’s shipping and pickup help page, items marked Available Today are usually ready within an hour, and you should wait for Apple’s pickup email or notification before heading to the store. You’ll need your order number and a valid photo ID, and the pickup name has to match the buyer unless you name someone else at checkout.
The catch is that Apple only checks one colour and size at a time. After pre-orders opened on October 16, Apple’s Canadian site was also telling shoppers to check back on October 24 for pickup availability, so expect the first real pickup slots to show up around launch.
How does iPhoneStockChecker.com track iPhone Duo stock?
If clicking through eight combinations at several stores sounds tedious, Daryl’s iPhone Stock Checker does it for you, and it’s just what people have been waiting for. The site was built by Daryl Leigh, a developer who told iPhone in Canada he’s based in Manchester in the UK and put the first version together in two days after getting frustrated trying to find a new iPhone in stock himself.
It pulls from Apple’s store pickup system and shows every colour and storage size for the iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at every nearby Apple Store in a single grid. It covers 27 countries, including Canada and the US, with distances in kilometres for Canadian searches and miles in the US. A green tick links straight to that exact model on Apple’s site, where you buy it as you normally would. The site doesn’t sell phones, handle payments or ask for your Apple Account.
Here’s how to use it:
- Go to iphonestockchecker.com and select iPhone Duo (you can pick more than one model).
- Choose Canada or United States, then pick all stores or a radius such as within 25 km.
- Enter your postal code, ZIP code or town and tap Check stock.
- Leave the tab open with auto-refresh on. It checks again every 30 seconds and plays a sound with a notification when something new comes into stock.
Use code IPHONEINCANADA to get a free upgrade to paid alerts for 60 days. Only 9 lucky iPhone in Canada readers will get to use this code, so let us know in the comments if you got in before anyone else (pays to read our site early!).
The results also have Recent changes and Patterns tabs. The site logs each time a model comes into stock or sells out at each store, so you can see when a store last restocked and the hours restocks tend to arrive. When we ran a check for downtown Toronto and New York on October 20, both came back with nothing in stock, which is no surprise three days before launch.
Is iPhoneStockChecker.com free?
Searching stock, auto-refresh and restock history are free and don’t need an account. Stock alerts by email or phone notification, plus a daily summary, are part of an optional Alert Pass that lasts 30 days. It’s a one-off payment through Stripe that doesn’t renew, and the site shows pass prices in its alert panel after you sign in with a one-time email link.
Alerts let you pick the exact model, colour, size and how far you’re willing to travel, and you get notified once when it’s in stock nearby. Daryl told iPhone in Canada the Apple links on the site aren’t affiliate links, so the site earns nothing when you buy an iPhone. He also said the optional Alert Pass is the site’s only source of income. It’s an independent tool and isn’t affiliated with Apple.
Can you buy the iPhone Duo from carriers and Best Buy?
Carriers and retailers are worth checking alongside Apple, since their stock and delivery dates don’t always line up.
In Canada, Rogers, Bell, Telus and Freedom Mobile all sell the iPhone Duo, and we’ve compared their carrier prices. Best Buy Canada also lists it with plans from Rogers, Fido, Bell, Telus, Koodo and Freedom, but you’ll need to activate on one of those carriers.
In the US, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile all carry the iPhone Duo, and T-Mobile’s site lets you check pickup at nearby stores by ZIP code. Best Buy in the US only sells AT&T and Verizon models, so there’s no unlocked option there. Apple sells the unlocked version in both countries, and the iPhone Duo is eSIM-only either way.
What are the best tips for finding iPhone Duo stock?
- Check early in the morning. Many buyers have better luck first thing, before stores open, but Apple doesn’t publish a restock schedule. Use the Patterns tab on iPhoneStockChecker.com to see when your local stores have actually restocked.
- Be flexible on colour and size. Searching all eight combinations at once gives you more chances, and a 512GB in the “wrong” colour beats waiting until February.
- Widen your radius. A store an hour away might have stock when your nearest one doesn’t, especially in cities with more than one Apple Store.
- Move fast at checkout. Stock can sell out within minutes, and a green tick isn’t a reservation. Have your Apple Account, payment and trade-in details ready.
- Pick it up soon after Apple says it’s ready. Apple doesn’t hold pickup orders forever, so don’t wait days once you get the ready notice.
- Keep your existing order. If you already have a 2027 delivery date, there’s no harm leaving it in place while you hunt for a pickup slot, then cancelling whichever one you don’t need.
Are you going to try your luck in store this week, or wait out the delivery date?
