Want an iPhone Duo? These Canadian Apple Stores Restock the Most

iPhone Duo in Star White and Night Sky

Last week we walked through how to track iPhone Duo stock at Apple Stores in Canada, including Daryl Leigh’s free checker that watches every nearby store in one grid. Daryl has since pulled fresh Canadian numbers from his site, and here’s the data he exclusively shared with iPhone in Canada.

The numbers help explain why landing a foldable still feels like a sprint. Apple’s online orders have been stuck on long delivery windows since launch day, so most people still hunting one are watching in-store pickup instead.

How to get restock alerts, plus a new reader code

The checker itself is still free to search, with optional paid alerts if you want a ping when a specific colour and size pops up nearby. You can open the tool, pick Canada, enter a postal code and leave auto-refresh running while you work.

A new promo code from Daryl, IPHONEINCANADA2, is available to iPhone in Canada readers when signing up for alerts. It’s only good for the first 20 people who use it, so don’t wait if you want one.

Which Canadian Apple Stores restock most often

Daryl’s site checks all 26 Apple Stores in Canada every 15 seconds. Across the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Duo over the last seven days, these locations restocked most often:

  1. Square One, Mississauga
  2. Market Mall, Calgary
  3. Chinook Centre, Calgary
  4. Halifax Shopping Centre, Halifax
  5. Sherway Gardens, Toronto
  6. CF Fairview Mall, Toronto
  7. Yorkdale, Toronto
  8. Conestoga, Waterloo
  9. Bayshore Shopping Centre, Ottawa
  10. Eaton Centre, Toronto

For the iPhone Duo on its own, the busiest restock stores were Metrotown in Burnaby, Sainte-Catherine in Montreal, Chinook Centre in Calgary, Markville in Markham and Richmond Centre in Richmond. That mix lines up with what we heard around limited walk-in stock at launch: some cities see more drops than others, and none of it sits around for long.

How fast Canadian restocks sell out

Sell-out times from a recent stretch of data across all 26 Canadian stores show how little time buyers actually get.

  • iPhone Duo: 75 restocks went from in stock to sold out. All were gone within 3 to 4 minutes. Forty-six of those 75 vanished within 2 minutes, and the longest any Duo restock lasted was 4 minutes.
  • iPhone 18 Pro Max: Over about 2 hours of tracked restocks, 30 of 37 sold out within 5 minutes. The longest lasted 99 minutes.
  • iPhone 18 Pro: Over about 1 hour, 26 of 29 sold out within 5 minutes. The longest lasted 2 hours and 21 minutes.

At stores such as Square One, Rideau and DIX30, some units disappeared in as little as 6 to 12 seconds. If you’re relying on a manual refresh of one colour and storage size on Apple’s site, that window is easy to miss.

When Canadian restocks tend to land

Daryl’s data for the week also shows when restocks tend to arrive.

  • Tuesday was the busiest day by far, followed by Wednesday and Friday. Saturdays were quiet.
  • Most restocks landed between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Eastern, with a peak around 1 p.m. Eastern and smaller bumps around noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
  • The iPhone Duo had a big drop on Tuesday, October 27. Most of that week’s Duo restocks came that day, many of them right at opening between 8 and 10 a.m. Eastern.

Carrier stock can move on a different schedule from Apple Stores, so it’s still worth checking Rogers, Bell, Telus and Freedom alongside pickup. We’ve already compared iPhone Duo carrier prices in Canada if you’re deciding whether to buy unlocked or finance through a plan.

None of this guarantees you’ll get one tomorrow. It does give a clearer picture of where restocks have been landing, how fast they vanish and which hours are worth watching if you’re still after an iPhone Duo in Canada.

Have you managed to snag an iPhone Duo from an Apple Store restock, or are you still watching the alerts?
