Video Demo: Internet Tethering and MMS Video on iPhone OS 3.0
As expected, the closer we get to Apple’s 2009 WWDC, the more excited people get over the prospect of iPhone OS 3.0’s final release. A couple features many people are looking forward to include internet tethering and MMS.
Today we’re going to take a look at a video preview that was posted by YouTube user gagaha. Within this video you can see just how easy it is to tether your internet via Bluetooth and the USB cable. A preview of how MMS works is in there too.
The video is in HD quality which makes it very clear to see just how simple it is to perform both tethering and MMS. The tethering is performed on a Mac:
iPhone OS 3.0 + New iPhone?
What are the features you will be looking forward to the most when OS 3.0 is finally available for download? I am looking forward to copy and paste, the ability to email multiple images, and pretty much anything else Apple has to offer, but hasn’t told us about yet.
There’s been plenty of chatter on the interwebs about whether or not the “next” iPhone will be announced at WWDC 2009. Apple has clearly stated that Jobs will be returning in late June.
When this happens, Steve will be the one to drop the new iPhone on us. Why? Well, for starters Jobs announced the first and second gen iPhones. I can’t imagine seeing anyone else unleash the next iPhone with the flair and passion that only Jobs can exude.

Take a look and you’ll see that the iPhone is on t-mobile 😛
Seen this the other day, looking good 😉
I’m with you there on the Copy & Paste, MMS, and multiple pic emailing. Does this mean the 3G phones will support video and we won’t have to upgrade.
I’m looking forward to Copy & Paste and hopefully push notifications. I want to see applications like Agendus so I can have a decent Calendar on my iPhone.
Copy Paste is handy, I’ve been using it since the 3.0 beta came out 🙂
I have yet to get MMS/Tether to work in any beta on Rogers/Fido though 🙁
Been using 3.0 since the debut. MMS and Tethering working 100%
🙂
Just be aware: Rogers charges $10/MB for tethering.
Where did you take that info… cause data plans with Internet Stick (USB) are exactly the same as data plans on phones 🙂 I think both would use the same data account!
