You Can Now Jailbreak iOS 16.4.1 with Palera1n 2.0.0 Beta 6
Codenamed Bakepale, the latest v2.0.0 beta 6 update to jailbreak tool Palera1n has just been released, which fully supports iOS 16.4 - iOS 16.4.1 jailbreak.
GeoHot: Jailbreak for 3.1 For All iPhones and iPod Touches Coming
It looks like GeoHot (also known as George Hotz) is at it again. He is one of the iPhone hackers out there that always seems to discover exploits and releases jailbreaking tools apart from the iPhone Dev Team.
This time around, in his recent blog post titled “Meet the Family”, he talks about the upcoming release of a jailbreak tool that will work for ALL iPhone and iPod Touches on 3.1 firmware. Here’s what he had to say:

Wow. If this tool is for real, it will be able to jailbreak your device in 10 seconds and could work on every version of upcoming firmware forever! Hot diggity! This is some exciting stuff and props to GeoHot for his hard work.
Don’t forget the Windows version of PwnageTool, called sn0wbreeze, is coming October 12th as well. It’s a good time for all iPhone and iPod Touch users!

The crappy thing for you would be to unlock your iPhone if you wanted to and you couldn't because you updated your BB when updating to 3.1FW.

So is this a jailbreak for those who resisted updating their iPhones to version 3.1 via iTunes and this is the “replacement” file for those phones or is this a jailbreak for the iPhones that have version 3.1 software installed on them right now and will have the ability to unlock those phones?
