Fix My Everything!
Push Notification Fix (GPS, Youtube)
1.) On your iPhone home-screen, tap on the Cydia icon.
2.) If Cydia prompts you for updates, install them all.
3.) In Cydia, tap on the “Manage†tab at the bottom of the screen.
4.) Tap on the “Sources†button.
5.) Tap on the “Edit†button in the top right corner of the screen and then tap the “Add†button in the top left corner.
6.) Type in http://cydia.iphoneil.net and then tap “Add Source“.
7.) Now tap on the “Done†button in the top right corner of the screen.
8.) Tap on the “Search†tab on the bottom of the screen and type in “pushfix“.
9.) Select “pushfix†from the list of search results and then tap “Install†in the top right corner of the screen and then tap “Confirm“.

WiFi Fix
1.) On your iPhone home-screen, tap on the “Settings” icon.
2.) In the Settings menu, tap on “General“. Scroll to the bottom of the General menu.
3.) In the General menu, tap on “Reset“. Then tap “Reset Network Settings“.
4.) Reboot your iPhone/iPod Touch by holding down the sleep/wake button and sliding to turn off.

I need to know where I can DL the OS X .deb file for the fix because my wifi(greyed-out) has been dead for almost a month! hello guys, yesterday i updated to 3.12 and jailbreak it with blackra1n and then used sn0w. i dindt use aptbackup so all my apps downloaded from installous and cydia are now gone, well they still on my itunes but not on my iphone. my second problem is that the iphone screen is darker then before, how do i fix that? thanks!
Maybe there might be an RC4 release from GeoHot to fix all these problems, that is if he decides to… So far from comments with these fixes, everything seems to work good!
Get and install “App Sync” from cydia and iTunes should reinstall those apps for you
Thank to point it out. I was wondering why I could not lookup an adress in Maps, using facebook app,… while talking on phone.
And my GoogleSynced just stopped push for 5 days now.

Anyone noticed a ridiculous slow performance using edge network to surf or data access after jailbreaking to 3.1.2. Before my jailbreaking, it was alot faster, but now seems very very slow.

I did this fix but still my YouTube reports that it “Cannot connect to YouTube” when that app loads. Can anyone guide me in the right direction to fix this. THX
Go to settings and then notifications, note all apps that use push. Uninstall said apps, reinstall pushfix, restart phone. Worked for me.
Yikes! If possible, I highly recommend just using the official SIM of the phone (activated or not) while doing the upgrade. This will avoid any issues, and enable actually push notifications. Please note that the Push Fix above will not enable notifications, and you'll likely receive other people's notifications.
pushfix is not available in search. been searching for 2 days already.

it worked thanks! but it seems every time i turn the phone back on i need to reset the network connection and redigit my password…is there a way to make the resetting permanent.

Reset Network Settings does not fix my WiFi Problem. With BlackRa1n my WiFi works for a day or two and then it just does not find any networks anymore. Restore OS, it works right away and keeps working. I use RC3.
wiifi stll dead i had allready unlocked without wifi and used push fix…. but no result…please post a solution….
I unlocked my iphone 3gs with blackra1n, and i have no wifi! i tryed the network reset, and it worked for a few then if my phone restarts or i just let the wifi turn off(when phone is asleep) the wifi wont come back on…WTF… HELP How do i fix this… I have Tmobile US

1. Full Restore and Unlock Again
2. Network Reset
3. Full Setting Reset
4. Leaving the phone alone
5. Airplane mode
6. Hard Restart (holding down Home and Power/Sleep Buttons)

Usually youtube don't work because your date is wrong. Try changing your date.
I found out that the GPS problem was caused only by balckra1n jailbreak. I restored my iPhone and GPS was working fine, but right after the jailbreak it wasn't working anymore.
Only thing that helped me with non-working GPS was complete restore with PwnageTool.

For whatever reason Push Fix is no longer available at both Rock and Cydia. It is still available at a different source under sinfuliphone.com
I just followed all the steps in the “fix my everything”. I got to step 8 and i cannot find step 8 “pushfix in search” please help me out

Instead of searching at the source of: http://cydia.iphoneil.net , you need to add the source: http://www.sinfuliphome.net, that site still have the push fix copy.

Be aware that by applying the aforementioned Wifi fix you can get your iphone stuck in the boot loop, as documented here:

I did and it was a pain to get things working again. I suspect that the main reason for getting stuck in the boot loop was having a password on the phone. I was able to restore the phone using SHSH from Cydia and 3.1.2 firmware using a similar approach to this guide:

Afterwards I removed the password, jailbroke and unlocked the iphone, applied the wifi fix and all is well. This is all on iPhone 3GS with 3.1.2.
So here is my advice and a list to follow. Make sure that prior to hitting “Reset all network settings” you:

2. Backup your SHSH to cydia, can't stress how important this is.
3. REMOVE PASSWORD LOCK ON YOUR IPHONE -> VERY IMPORTANT!!!
