iPhone Dev Team Member Gets Android Running on an iPhone
This isn’t an April Fools joke, or some kid trying to get attention. This hacker, known as “planetbeing” actually got the Android operating system running on a 1st gen iPhone. Apparently, it is still real buggy, but he was able to acomplish a “dual boot” iPhone. Upon start up, you have to choose between iPhone OS or Android. You may know planetbeing from the iPhone Dev Team. They are the team who brought us jailbreak tools like Pwnage Tool and redsn0w.
This only works on the original iPhone right now, but he hopes to having it running on the iPhone 3G and 3GS some time in the future.
Don’t believe me? Watch his video:

Surprised the iPhone didn't burst into flames the moment Android booted on it! 🙂
That's cool and all but I don't see the point I can't run it for a day or two test out android but I doubt I leave an iPhone running android unless it's 2.1 and able to make revieve calls and be reliable
Lol the iphone is drinking coffee while video taping 🙂
Hahahahahhaa
Wow 1.6 on an iPhone… nearly wet myself with excitement!
I made a donation, and hoped for a 3G version.

Quick, start buying all those cheap original iPhone's, since Apple has hinting that the life of original iPhone is short lived now with any future updates.
Maybe there is hope for my 2G yet … after I replace it in June maybe I'll try and whip this trick up! LOL
