Product Review: Scosche flipSYNC USB Charge and Sync Travel Cable

Scosche is name that has been in the Apple accessories market for quite some time now. They put out great, affordable accessories for iPods, iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad, among other mobile devices. I’ve always found their products stylish and functional, while staying durable and affordable.

Today, we’re taking a look at the flipSYNC USB Charge and Sync Cable. This tiny cable for you iPhone, iPod, iPod Touch, or iPad fits right on your keychain, so you never have to worry about forgetting your sync cable, when you’re on the go. Works for syncing and changing. It has Apple’s 30 pin dock connector on one end and a USB 2.0 connector on the other. Works just as any other sync cable would.

I have found this cable to be very convenient, on the go, and even at home. When you’re out and about, this works great with something like a ZAGGSparq, for a quick charge. At home, you could be on the couch with your laptop, need to sync your device, for some reason, but don’t have a cable nearby. If you have your keys with you, you;re all set!

The connectors are nice and solid, and don’t loose or cheap in any way. The cable itself is really short, as you can see from the pictures. That’s all you get. It doesn’t wind up inside, or anything. That’s the price you pay for this kind of portability, though. Having a spare sync cable on your key chain, can be a life saver!

UPDATE: I’ve heard some of you have not been able to order this from Scosche.com, because they don’t ship to Canada. I found a Canadian dealer, here: Staub.ca. Also, Walmart carries Scosche products, so keep checking there, to see if they get it in stock.
