iGlowPhone Glow In The Dark Decal For iPhone 4

A friend of mine recently introduced me to a glow-in-the-dark iPhone 4 decal called iGlowPhone. Aside from being rather cheesy, the decal does look neat once fully applied and charged up.

There is something oddly amusing about a glow-in-the-dark iPhone 4.

iGlowPhone by Mobile Riot Gear

The iGlowPhone is a glow-in-the-dark vinyl decal for iPhone 4. The decal is applied to the back and outside edges of the iPhone 4, so almost the entire device is covered in eerie glowness.

Aside from the visual element, the vinyl decal does provide a degree of scratch protection for the back and sides of the iPhone 4. It does nothing for the screen, but at least when you lay the iPhone 4 down, the back is covered.

Since the vinyl is glow-in-the-dark, it does require a charge. In other words, to make the most of the glowing aspect, the decal needs to be exposed to light for about 30-seconds before getting a solid glow. The idea here is the longer you expose the decal to a light source, the longer it will glow.

After being exposed to a light source for a few minutes, the decal can glow for up to about an hour, but it will quickly fade unless exposed to light again. You can see where the novelty wears off.

Overall, if you find the above images amusing and know of some dark places to show off the decal, maybe check this accessory out.

The iGlowPhone decal includes a back and edge wrap and is available for $14.95 from the Mobile Riot Gear online store.

The the one for the edge more than a week ago, works really well.
No reception problem is no longer there.
The glow-in-the-dark get charged really well even with just the normal light.
And of cuz, UV light works even better 😀

Just the Edge glow bit would be neat, I think.

I think you’re mistaking me for you being sensitive.

But it’s okay. We can be your shoulder to troll on.

Wow! would be good one to be out with in the pitch dark night. The glow of the phone would just make it look fascinating. Anything done in a moderate amount will look good but the excess of it will go the other way round. The same thing applies the glow will look good as far as it will be a thin layer of line that glows.
