iPhone 4 Bumpers Coming To An Apple Store Near You!
Reports this morning point to Apple Stores soon receiving iPhone 4 bumpers as soon as Friday October 1, 2010. Until now, iPhone 4 Bumpers were unavailable at Apple Stores due to the free iPhone 4 case program.
The case program saw all of the black iPhone 4 Bumpers being used as a free case option and left none for retail shelves.
Originally sold to provide protection against scratches and damage, the Bumper soon became a way to mitigate the antenna issues of iPhone 4.
With today being the expiration of the iPhone 4 case program, Apple can now begin to successfully stock its stores with the Bumper.
Sources further indicate that quantities will be limited and that not all colors will be available. The Bumper is listed as “currently unavailable†on the Apple on-line store, but in-store stock should be available very soon.

I have tried four different cases and personally love my bumper after I bought an AUX cable that actually works with it. I cannot wait to get a white one.

lololololol the Bumper was made because Apple knew about the antenna problem before they launched and well all know it 😛
I got that case too but am not a fan. It keeps peeling up my ZAGG protecting skin so I stopped using it. I’m caseless right now and fear for my life!
With both sides being glass, and nothing in the way of protecting them, the bumper is the only way to protect the phone. Great way to make a couple of more bucks. Apple puts such an emphasis on esthetics’s, they forget practicality. Of course Steve Jobs does not use a bumper, any time he drop’s his and cracks the screen, he gets a new one.
I have apple black bumper and happy with it. It makes it easier to hold the phone at least for me.

Bumpers are given free with current Telus 4G iPhones till September 30, 2010..? Are bumpers required and being sold because the current release of iPhone 4G’s have bad reception signal? I want an iPhone but not a defective iPhone 4 or one required to have a bumper on to have its full user potential. If Telus is’nt promoting complementary bumpers to iPhone 4 customers after September 30, have they fixed the problem with the phones come October!?
Im in the market for a iPhone 4 and a new contract but ive been waiting for the white iPhone 4 to come out… theres a forum saying apple is releasing a red iPone 4G’s… Maybe marketing AIDS funding?
