Codenamed Bakepale, the latest v2.0.0 beta 6 update to jailbreak tool Palera1n has just been released, which fully supports iOS 16.4 - iOS 16.4.1 jailbreak.
iOS 4.2 Jailbreak May Be Delayed
As iOS 4.2 comes closer to its full public release, many iPhone users who have jailbroken or jailbroken and unlocked their device are wondering when the jailbreak for iOS 4.2 will be available.
Well, some possibly bad news has come our way that reports that the jailbreak tool for iOS 4.2 may be delayed. The news comes by way of a tweet from @comex who reports:
However, a 4.2 jailbreak might be delayed because Cydia doesn’t work on 4.2 yet. Not sure how close @chpwn is to finishing his fixes.
So it seems that the iOS 4.2 jailbreak may be delayed because Cydia is not yet ready for the new firmware.
The new firmware may be available any day now, as Apple just yesterday released the GM seed, the last seed before official release, of iOS 4.2 to developers.
