Apple sent out an email to developers a few hours ago to introduce a new program for businesses. The Volume Purchase Program will allow businesses to purchase apps in volume and sell custom B2B apps to customers.
The email reads:
Get ready today. Business customers will soon be able to buy your apps in volume. Click through the latest Paid Applications Agreement so that your apps will be offered for sale when the Volume Purchase Program is available to businesses.

This is great news for businesses and another stab at companies like RIM. Apple continues to be aggressive in targeting the coveted corporate market with their iOS devices. They recently took out an ad on the back page of The Economist. The program is set to launch on the USA first, and could follow soon after in other countries.
