The iPod touch has become a popular item as part of Apple’s total 222 million iOS devices sold. As for the next generation iPod touch, images were sent to 9to5Mac that reveal it could come with a white faceplate, to look similar to the iPhone 4.
To add further evidence of a possible white iPod touch update, Concord Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kou had some insight for AppleInsider:
Looking into the current third calendar quarter, Kuo said checks indicate Apple has placed orders for white iPod touch models that are expected to go into mass production sometime in late August, but he added that the build plans for those models reflect few, if any, distinguishable changes from the existing black models introduced last fall.
So Apple adds a white iPhone 4 and iPad 2, discontinues the white entry-level MacBook, and now might add a white iPod touch? It makes sense, as all iOS devices will have the option to be available in white.
Who wants an iPod touch in white?
