Easily Create iPhone Ringtones With Ringtone DJ

In the days of the original iPhone, around 2007, I used my Windows PC to create iPhone ringtones. I would get a song, cut it up, add some effects and convert it.

After getting tired of the aforementioned process, I started using Apple’s GarageBand which was much faster in creating ringtones. Since then, I’ve always been on the lookout for something even faster.

Recently, a new app called “Ringtone DJ” has helped me make iPhone ringtones faster by creating the tone right on my iPhone. I really like this because you do not need a PC or Mac to create the audio file.

Ringtone DJ is one of the first and only apps that allow you to make unlimited ringtones from any song* in your iTunes library. You can even add neat effects to make your ringtone truly unique.

To make a ringtone using the default settings you choose your song, set the start/end time and save. Easy.

To sync and use the ringtone, you’ll need to plug your iPhone into iTunes and move the saved song from the “Apps” section of your iPhone to “Ringtones”.

If you want to add effects, you can choose from Pitch/Scratch effects, a delay effect, low-pass & high-pass filters and voice recording.

Overall, if you’re looking for an easy way to make iPhone ringtones on-device, check out Ringtone DJ.

Ringtone DJ is available in the App Store for free. If you want the effects, they can be purchased in-app for $0.99 each or all four for $1.99.
