‘Messages2PDF’ Lets You Save Your iPhone SMS As PDF And Email For Backup [Cydia]

Another new tweak called Messages2PDF has just hit the Cydia store. Developed by Alberto De Luca, the tweak lets users export full SMS conversations in the iPhone’s Messages.app as a PDF file. The PDF file generated by the tweak can be sent and shared via Email or saved as a backup of any important messages. The tweak works with both iOS 4 and iOS 5 and also supports iMessages. Once you download and install it, you will need to set up your international prefix via the tweak’s settings in order to allow PDF export.

You can download Messages2PDF from Cydia via the BigBoss repo for $1.49.

If you haven’t already, you will need to jailbreak your iOS device first in order to install this tweak. To do so, simply read our easy tutorials on how to jailbreak your iPhone 4S using Absinthe or CLI, untethered on iOS 5. For iPhone 4/iPhone 3GS, iPad and iPod touch 3G/4G, follow our guide posted here.

Got it. Wish the developer will put some space between each line between the conversation and color code the sender and recipient messages so it’s easier to read like it’s in the iMessage or SMS text.
