Reveal – New Cydia Tweak Shows Entire Notifications
Have you ever been annoyed with how iOS notifications only show you a preview of your messages, emails, and other notifications? Well, there is a new tweak in Cydia that changes all that. Conrad Kramer and Joshua Tucker have released “Reveal”. This new tweak, now in Cydia, allows you to scroll within your notification bars and bubbles to reveal your entire notification.
No more shortened notifications!
Reveal allows you to view more text on notifications. Scroll horizontally on banners and vertically on lock screen bubbles to read more of the message. Tap lock screen table cells to expand the view.
Features
- Scrollable banners
- Scrollable lock screen bubbles
- Expandable lock screen cells
Here is Reveal, in action:
I have only been using it for a short while, but this is something I have been wanting for a while. The simplicity of just being able to scroll within your notification adds so much more to the iOS experience. Now, you can check your notifications, without actually opening the apps associated with them. My only critique, is that I wish it extended this functionality to the Notification Center, as well. Maybe in a future update?
Reveal is available in Cydia now, for $1.99, in the Big Boss repo.
