Firecore Releases aTV Flash 1.6

The latest untethered jailbreak has not only benefited Apple’s mobile devices, but it has benefited the Apple TV2, as well. Firecore released an update to their Apple TV jailbreak tool, Seas0nPass, not too long after the release of Absinthe 2.0. Jailbreaking your Apple TV2 allows you to install 3rd party software, that Apple doesn’t offer. The best way to do this, is with Firecore’s aTV Flash, and they have just released a major update.

aTV Flash 1.6 brings the ability to download subtitles for your movies, right on the Apple TV, via It also now supports purchased content from iTunes. There is also a ton of bug fixes. Here is the full change log:
