Gmail iOS App Updated for the iPhone 5

For users of the Gmail iPhone app, its has been updated for the iPhone 5’s larger 4-inch display. The app provides one of the fastest and easiest ways to search emails within your Gmail account on the iPhone. The app debuted last November but the launch suffered a SNAFU after a bug with push notifications.

Google acquired popular email client Sparrow back in July. The latter is apparently set to receive an iOS 6 and iPhone 5 update soon.

Just yesterday, we told you about Google bringing CardDAV support for Google contacts to iOS.
