Just like with any other iOS product launch, some of the first iPad minis were put through torture tests in order to test their durability.
Android Authority has compared the iPad mini with the Nexus 7, by making each device suffer three drops. Interestingly, the iPad mini, while it definitely suffered damages, outperformed the Nexus 7 as it continued to function after the drop test.
SquareTrade’s drop and dunk tests have resulted in similar results highlighting the iPad mini’s high-end finishing. In addition, the guys have included the iPad 3 in their durability test. Enjoy!
