Braven 650 Wireless Speaker – Listen To Your Music, Answer & Make Calls and Charge Your Device [Review]

When it comes to listening to your music or any audio on your iPhone or iOS device, it’s not the greatest experience. The speakers just aren’t the best. Over the years Apple has tried to improve them, but they’re still just little speakers in your mobile device.

We’ve seen a lot of companies come out with speaker docks and other speakers to give you a better listening experience. One of them is Braven. They were nice enough to send me one of their offerings for review – the 650 – and in short, I’m very impressed.

In the packaging the Braven 650 looks sleek and stylish, showing off its all aluminium casing. You also get an idea of how small the speaker is. But don’t let the size fool you, this portable speaker packs a punch when it comes to audio.

Oh, and it’s not just audio playback this little beauty does well, it also serves as a speakerphone and a charger for your iPhone. I’ve even been able to charge my iPad using the Braven 650.

Here is my complete video review of the Braven 650.

As seen in the video, your iPhone connects via Bluetooth, which is simple to set up. And again, the Braven 650 is very sleek and stylish with its rounded edges and all aluminium design. It’s also nice and compact which makes it very portable and can be set up almost anywhere.

The sound quality is amazing. The sound is very rich with solid treble and bass. And if you’re looking for even more sound, you can use the included audio cable to daisy-chain other speakers that have an audio in line.

If you’re looking for a great sounding portable speaker for your iOS devices, the Braven 650 is well worth the consideration. You can also check out Braven’s other speaker options.

Let me know what you think. Do you own a portable speaker or speaker dock? Which ones and why do you like or not like them. Let me know in the comments.
