Donald Trump Says Apple Needs a Larger iPhone or Will Lose Customers
Donald Trump says some of the funniest things. Today, he has declared on Facebook Apple should increase the size of its iPhone screen as they are losing business by not doing so. He also states he misses the late Apple CEO Steve Jobs:
I have a lot of @Apple stock— and I miss Steve Jobs. Tim Cook must immediately increase the size of the screen on the iPhone. It should be slightly larger than the Samsung screen- and they better get it right fast because they will lose a lot of business. I like the larger screen.
You can always count on “The Donald” to say interesting things to stay in the spotlight. Tim Cook said during the company’s recent 2013 Q2 earnings call Apple “would not ship a larger display iPhone while these trade-offs exist,” referring to lower battery life and portability issues faced by its competitors.

Dont try to understand people’s desire for a large screen phone, instead, try to understand what people want to increase your business, specially if there are fierce competitors nibbling away at your marketshare!
You have to understand, Donald Trump pays a guy to follow him around carrying his phone and other devices so he doesn’t have to carry them around. So to him, the problems that the 99% of the rest of the world would have, do not even come into his thick little head. I do not want to hear from rich morons when it comes to what the standard consumer needs or wants from a device. If the iPhone 5 had a bigger screen, it would be a massive failure.
Let’s face it, we use smart phones more as information devices than phones. Some people might like the present iPhone screen size but I believe many more would prefer a larger screen size. Why not give us a choice? In the tablet market, there are 11″,13″, 15″, and 17″ screen sizes. There is a reason for that. Why not have 4″ and a larger screen for iPhone. I would immediately go for an iPhone with a screen size around 4.7″

Idiot, he is just mad because he has to use his old man glasses to read his phone. The larger screens are getting ridiculous, I like have my phone in my pocket and not having to worry about purchasing a carrying case for it. If I want bigger I would use my laptop. I don’t own and iPad because its to big to carry around in my pocket. Wife does she has a purse, I don’t want to have to start carrying a purse for my huge phone lol.

He is 100% correct, i ditched the iphone for a galaxy3 exactly because of apple refusal to make a larger screen phone, Donald has hit the nail in the head.
I ditched my iPhone a while back for the same reason. Wanted a bigger screen. Nothing integrated well on my htc desire hd. The batterie kept dying on me. Tim Cook is correct. There are huge trade offs to be had. What use is a big phone if you can’t get through the day before it dies. Aside from apple . Everyone one els is late to the smartphone game and have no choice to make huge trade offs just to compete in the market. Not to mention they leverage profit margins to the tits. Apple does not have to play this game. They have secured their market. Who the f cares what Wall Street thinks anyways. They are all a bunch of whores that focuse on short term profit and will leverage any companys future to maximize profits .

Typical rich guy.. “I want it, make it so”.. Apple won’t do this., the size is fantastic.. I was actually shocked when they went bigger on the iPhone 5.. But that’s as big as they’ll go I’m sure
I have switched to Galaxy Note 2, a week ago exactly for the above reason. iPhone screen is small for my eyes (even with glasses). The truth is that I miss the Apple eco-system so much, but Cupertino never gave me the choice to continue to stay with my iPhones. Don’t rush to judge me, I am an Apple user of 5 Macs, 3 iPads, 4iPods, and have been a user of iPhones from the first day. Please Apple, do something about larger screen iPhones and you’ll have me back and happy.
