Apple Has Paid Out Over $10B to Developers, 900,000 Apps in App Store
Apple has announced it has paid out over $10 billion to developers today at WWDC 2013, an increase from the $5 billion noted at last year’s conference.
Some other stats from CEO Tim Cook:
- 900,000 apps in the App Store
- 375,000 iPad apps
- 575 million iTunes accounts with credit cards
- 50 billion app downloads
- 6 million total registered developers (1.2 million added since last year)
- Over 100 WWDC sessions, 100 labs, over 1000 Apple engineers
