Back in late March after T-Mobile announced they would be selling an AWS iPhone 5, WIND Mobile quickly told its customers “stay tuned”, as this new model iPhone 5 would be compatible on their network.
We’ve already seen images of AWS iPhone 5 users on WIND Mobile’s network, but now the company has announced they will be selling nano SIM cards for $25 as of tomorrow at WIND stores, as confirmed by the following tweet by WIND’s customer service account:

Others have also noticed WIND Mobile responding to people on their Facebook page about the upcoming sale of WIND nano SIMs as well. For those lucky enough to have AWS iPhone 5 models so far (Apple retail has been handing out AWS warranty units), these factory nano SIMs mean you won’t need to cut your original SIM card anymore.

tmobile was selling them for $10 when they didnt have the iphone… then again wind needs to recoup costs for what wont be an overwhelming demand of sims… at least for now
True. I don’t mind the higher prices because I can’t see a lot of people getting them right now.
I got my SIM card cut when I signed up with Wind a few weeks ago. Still deciding if the lower prices are worth the worse 3G speed and reception I’m getting vs Fido.
I’m curious if Wind is going to start supporting iPhone services, like receiving incoming FaceTime calls and iMessages to your phone number, rather than your email address (Wind currently doesn’t support that) and Visual Voicemail.
Let’s hope they don’t go bankrupt before the iPhone comes out lol

Won’t be picking one up tomorrow, but if they are still independent in the fall (or at least still have the same plans) I see Wind in my future.

People just cut the regular Sim you have to IPhone 5 size. There are websites telling you how to.
Only time you should get another Sim is when switching from regular to LTE. Don’t pay $25 just for smaller size. Get a Stanley knife.
