Looks like some sort of error today sent the internet into a frenzy as some Canadian iTunes web links for iMovie, Pages and Keynote listed in its compatibility section “This app is optimized for iPhone 6”, notes The Verge.
The messages aren’t showing up anymore in Canadian listing, but as you can see below it sure did get people talking:
Also strange is how some New Zealand links started to show “optimized for iPhone 7” which pretty much indicated this was an error. Maybe someone at Apple is trying to send us a sly message about what to expect on Tuesday (or not)? All eyes point to an iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C release at Apple’s September 10 iPhone event.
