Martin Hajek’s Gorgeous Renders of the iPhone 5S Fingerprint Ring [PICS]
Designer Martin Hajek, known for his impressive skills to create renders of iOS device and packaging concepts, has released a batch of images bringing the iPhone 5S fingerprint ‘ring’ to real life, based on what was revealed earlier in an allegedly leaked 5S retail box:
Just days before the launch of the iPhone 5S new images appeared of the packaging exposing a not-before-seen detail; a ‘ring’ around the home button.
The ring seems related to the rumoured fingerprint sensor built into the home key. What we don’t yet know is … what will the ring look like? Will it be flush with the front glass, will it be metal or also glow? I made a few quick renderings looking at the ring – we’ll know for sure come Tuesday 10th September!
Below is the image of the allegedly leaked iPhone 5S box Hajek used to create his renders:

…and here are the gorgeous results:

Update: Hajek as also added images of the rumoured gold iPhone 5S showing the fingerprint sensor ring:

Remember that rumor about the Apple logo lighting up on the new iPads? And how on the new Mac Pro the plugs lights up when you turn it around? *hint hint*
The iPhone 5S won’t have an illuminated apple logo if that’s what you’re hinting at.
How do you know that?
I’m hinting at an illuminated home button if you didn’t catch that.
He missed the fact that its pretty clear that the square on the home button is no longer, at least based on the “leaked” packaging.
But yes, add me to the “I’ll believe it when I see it” list.
Welcome aboard. There’s not many of us though.
Cool renders but the button is reportedly convex.
Interesting thing will be to see some of the new case designs…I like the protection of an otterbox, but something like the Defender series would render the new home button useless as a sensor. Many other high protection cases would likely be the same. I like the new look though…Tuesday will be interesting.
