How to make a reservation? Login to you account and go to ‘Device Registration’. Below is what Fido shows for the iPhone 5s–all colour and capacity configurations are available, but given initial supply constraints good luck getting a gold model:
The Rogers website also shows reservations are now live as well. So login and do the same and let us know what you were able to reserve!
Rogers two year term iPhone 5s pricing starts at $229.99 for the 16GB, while Fido charges $230 (one penny more).

I was actually told by Fido earlier this week that it was an overall position for all iPhone models, but maybe he was just saying that….
He was just saying it as if you check out the Fido community forums you’ll see that there are people with the same number in queue for different models. Am guessing as I’m with Rogers and that’s the case with them. I’m currently 76 in line for a 32gb space grey (was trying to get silver but the wait is just too long, I moved like one place since Sunday) and there are other people who are also 76 in line for the gold and silver in different sizes. So it’s for the specific size and colour device.
44th with Fido for a 64gb gold. Was 45th, and it dropped to 44 about an hour later.
Down to 32 with Fido for the 64gb gold. I’m wondering if that means that 31 people are waiting for that exact model ahead of me.

The reason you drop is because people in front of you cancelled. Rogers is not shipping any 5s’s, they dont have any. You will not get it this weekend, in fact you will probably be waiting a few weeks. Right now Apple is 7-10 days, AT&T in USA is 7-28 days, Rogers is going to be similar.
They do have some, just called and was told they have space grey and silver in stock. Could have got a silver one right there and then but I can’t trade my phone in unless I go in store so couldn’t get it. Gold is sold out. Stores should be getting stock later today or at the latest Monday.

How do you know? I heard that Purolater have the Rogers stock and just dropped the ball on delivery.

You guys should really try BB/FS. I went there this morning a bit
after 8. There were just a couple people there. No line up at all. They
had all models except for gold ones so I made a reservation for $50
(cancel-able ). BB had one 32g gold but the guy arrived 5 mins earlier
than me took it T.T But if you need white or space gray, u should check
out your local BB/FS or even make reservation there. It should be way
faster than the Big 3 reservation. I also made a reservation for 32g
gold at Rogers. position #634. Yah! BB/FS do contracts for all big 3. So
don’t get held up on one place!

I’m in Calgary too. I was in BB/FS in the Northland mall and they had some when I left around 9am. Guess they sell quick after.

Holy moly!! I went from 317 last night to 166 this morning.
64GB Space Grey from Rogers. Was 62 when I reserved it at 3:32AM PST on Friday. Fell to 57 within a few hours but remained ‘OPEN’ until Saturday morning. Now marked as ‘In Progress’ and am expecting a tracking number soon.

If I understand correctly, when it’s at “In progress”, they should have the phone but in the process of shipping.. but I could be wrong.. But if I am.. why did they change the status from the status “Open”???
Patrice, not sure why they change the status if the item is not ready to ship. Normally “open” means it hasn’t been attended to, so “in progress” means they’ve entered the order, but, without a delivery date, the order is in limbo, which is why I (personally) don’t expect to see anything anytime soon. If I do hear something, I’ll post here, regards….
Since they showed our position with the Open status, I though it means that they were waiting for the phone to arrive and each batch of phones they receive were sent to people according to their position. And with the “In progress”, we cannot change our reservation… so we’re screwed :p
Got my “your phone has shipped” notice at 0200 today, tracking says today retail store will contact me, so looks like within a couple of days on “in progress” is the norm 😉

According to Rogers website:
“If your status is “in
progress”, we have begun the shipment process and you will not be able
to edit or cancel your reservation any longer. The next email you will
get will be the one that confirms shipment to the store you chose.”
The problem with that is that they don’t give a time frame to delivery. With stock items I’m sure it’s relatively quick, not too sure for new Apple items, one can only hope it moves along.

Made my reservation around 7pm Friday Night for a 64GB Space Grey iPhone 5S (FIDO).
Was at 275 that night, then 180 Saturday morning, currently at 178. Not much movement the last few days… but I’m not in a major rush. Going to guess it’ll be a couple weeks until it comes in.
Just checked again (7pm on Wed, Sept 25) and it now says “In Progress”.
Got an email saying it has been shipped along with a tracking number at 11:57pm on Mon, Sept 30! Should have it by the end of the week. The email also said if I don’t pick it up by October 7th then the store could sell it to someone else.
Got a phone call shortly after 3pm today (Oct 2) from Fido and the phone is in the store and ready to be picked up!! Woo Hoo!!!

I talked to a district manager at the rogers I reserved on Monday and he said they’d get some this week.

I used a HUP for a iPhone 5s 64GB Gold on September 23rd 2013 and I have yet to receive an email confirming when my device will arrive. I don’t even have a position # lol
Has anyone reserved a 32GB Space Grey in the last day or so? I’m at # 103 for the 32GB Silver but I’m thinking about abandoning my place in line and moving to the grey one. I just want to get an idea how far back that would put me. I started out at #274 on Sept 20 and quickly moved up to about 115 within a day. Since then it has been moving one or two places at a time (presumably as the people in front of me abandon their positions.) The local Rogers store told me that they are getting regular deliveries of reservations but only for space grey. They have never seen a silver or gold iPhone 5s in their inventory.
Today I moved up from 103 to 5 on the reservation list for the silver 32GB. I guess that means they finally got a shipment but less than a hundred devices for all the rogers reservation customers in the country is not a lot and it’s been two weeks. It turns out my luck in store was much better where I was able to walk in today and grab a 32GB space grey version. They also had 16GB grey in stock. Anything other than grey just seems to be too scarce right now.

Im with rogers, and just ordered the gold 5s 16GB. Im in position 2199… Only moved up about 15 places in one day. Not happy what so ever. Ordered it on the 29th. They said it will take 2 to 3 weeks. If it takes any longer, I will be very dissapointed. Speed up the process apple and rogers!

I ordered my (Gold 32gb IPhone 5s) on the 23rd around 6pm through rogers online reservation and started at #1375 in line on the waitlist. It has now been 2 full weeks and now im at #1114.. Has anyone else who ordered around the same time had any better luck then me? im just trying to get some idea of when i would recieve my phone.

Its basically their customer retention department. I’m currently number 56, not sure where I was when I had called on September 20. You may not have that much longer to wait, the rep didn’t say how many 32 GB Gold iPhones they were getting in, but he said mine would definitely me in my hands within days. So, we’ll see…

Probably 8 weeks. When I ordered my last iPhone with them I was around position 600 on the wait list and it still took a good 5 weeks for it to come. Hopefully they realized they need to fix how they go about processing orders and shipping them so you can get your phone sooner!

Maybe this will tell you something. I ordered an iPhone 5s 64GB Gold on September 23rd 2013 over the phone and I still haven’t received an email regarding the tracking number. I was told, and this is the exact quote that was told to me when calling into Rogers: “Anybody wanting to order a gold or silver iPhone will not have that option to order because Apple has not shipped any more but the grey is available”. This was a couple days ago.

Hello. I find these updates quite useful. I ordered through Rogers (via telephone agent) on September 25th for a 32GB Silver and despite being promised to get it in 4 to 10 business days, I still haven’t received it yet.
I’ve called them and they tell me they have no visibility into when I might get it and true to form are being absolutely useless.
