Public Mobile vs Lucky Mobile vs Chatr vs Fizz: Best Prepaid Plans – November 2026

Public Mobile, Lucky Mobile, Chatr and Fizz prepaid plans

Rogers, Telus and Bell raised prices in October, while flankers Fido, Koodo and Virgin Plus kept their sticker prices the same. Now, let’s take a look at the Big 3 prepaid brands for November.

Unlike last month, every brand here changed something. Here is the full prepaid picture for November 2026, compared with our October roundup, with prices in CAD per month and after autopay.

Public Mobile

Back-to-school pricing ended on October 5, and Public Mobile trimmed its lineup the next day. The $35/25GB Canada-US-Mexico plan is gone, and the $40 plan dropped from 75GB to 70GB. Everything else matches October.

Lucky Mobile

  • $22/500MB (was $19)
  • $25/5GB (4GB + 1GB with Auto Top-Up)
  • $30/15GB (10GB + 5GB with Auto Top-Up)
  • $35/30GB (25GB + 5GB with Auto Top-Up)
  • $40/50GB (40GB + 10GB with Auto Top-Up; new)

Lucky Mobile got rid of its $19 plans in October. The 500MB plan now costs $22, and the $21/1GB plan is gone. There is also a new $40/50GB tier at the top, and every data plan relies on the Auto Top-Up bonus to reach its headline amount.

Chatr

  • $22 talk and text (500MB with Auto-Pay)
  • $25/5GB (includes 1GB Auto-Pay bonus)
  • $30/15GB (includes 5GB Auto-Pay bonus)
  • $35/30GB (includes 5GB Auto-Pay bonus)
  • $40/50GB (includes 10GB Auto-Pay bonus; new)
  • $100/year talk (400 Canada-wide minutes)
  • $159/year for 40GB

Rogers-owned Chatr made the same moves as Lucky. The $21/1GB plan was replaced by a $22 talk-and-text plan that gets 500MB with Auto-Pay, and a new $40/50GB plan showed up at the end of October. The $159/year 40GB plan is still available.

Fizz

Fizz made quiet cuts. The 1GB plan is up $2 to $22, and the $30 and $33 plans lost 15GB and 20GB of data. The $35/100GB plan is now the best deal in its lineup. Fizz also has Black Friday perks lined up for members starting in early November.

Prepaid prices are creeping up while some plans lose data, which makes Black Friday in late November one to watch. If your current plan still works for you, it may pay to wait and see what the holiday promos bring. Stay tuned.
