Apple has launched its in-store pick up option for the Retina iPad mini. The Reserve and Pick Up page now lists the following locations with stock available (thanks @larrylarry). All locations are only showing Wi-Fi models available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions as of writing, but of course this will change.
As you can see these locations are primarily in Ontario and Quebec. Expect this to change quickly—feel free to leave updates in the comments in you notice a new location going live in your area.

No LTE anywhere, it’s a shame.
Toronto Yorkdale has the black wifi in 16gb, 32gb, and 64gb available for reservation today. Also has the silver wifi in 32gb only, which I just reserved. I selected pickup between 4-6pm. I can’t wait to pick it up on the way home from work!!!
Just picked mine up shortly after 6pm. They had a small express checkout line near the back of the store by the iPhone cases. Looks like there’s no more availability for reservation at any Apple stores in Ontario. When you try to reserve with the link above, all those locations are greyed out.

I posted this in another thread, but just to let every one know: Even though the reservation page now lets you reserve an iPad Mini with retina display. It might not necessarily be true. I did so at the Eaton Center in Toronto, and received a ready for pick up email 15 minutes later. When I got to the store, they had no stock available and I was told it was a glitch.
So do call before you go down if it’s out of the way. You might be disappointed.

Looks like no 128GB models either. That’s the real shame. (yes, I have storage issues)
It seems like there are not 128GB version indeed. None of the store carries it.

I take that back — it was open for the stores in Canada for a minute. Now it seems just Edmonton and Calgary. But still only 64GB Grey.
Calgary is up there now but only 64GB available.
Just got a 32GB Space gray at Mapleview 3 minutes after i ordered it appeared there were none left .. There is also a sign outside the store stating that you can only get the Retnia Mini thru online reservation .
The online pickup is now close pass 6pm. Anyone know when again will the Totono stores will be available again from the store drop down list tomorrow morning for store pickup first thing.
Got 16 gig space grey at fairview! Reserved online and picked it up immediately. No one at the store was prepared for the sale today, they all expected them to be sold tomorrow! Have some patience with those employees, they’re just as lost as we are today!

Yeah, most western canada locations just don’t have stock it seems.
The thing is it never gotten any. I’ve been refreshing all day both yesterday and today and never went past Step 2.

Just buy it online and get it shipped? I did that yesterday and it should arrive next Tuesday.
Next Tuesday? I have yet to seen anybody getting shipping estimate earlier than the 22nd.
Apple said shipped on 22nd, but my UPS tracker now suggests on the 19th. Which is great for me!!!!

Got mine from Metrotown Bestbuy yesterday. (32GB Space Gray). Now the only problem to solve is if I want to keep the rMini or the Air…
They got stock of Retina iPad Minis with LTE at several Toronto Apple Stores
In the US there are sites that take the apple data and then allow you to be notified when your desired model becomes available in your area. Can’t find a site like that for Canada.

I love this site and I visit it almost daily. But why has this been at the top of the site when it is over a month old? Isn’t there an apple rumour or Chinese knock off or even an iTunes gift card sale that deserves the top spot? Just saying . . .
