Apple has just increased its “Available to ship” times for the iPad Air. Previously at ‘within 24 hours’, this timeframe has jumped to 5-7 business days for all Wi-Fi and LTE models in both Canada and the USA.

The delay comes at a time when Apple is looking to maintain supplies for upcoming Black Friday sales and also the Christmas rush. In the past, deeper into the shopping period these shipping estimate times usually drop to within 24 hours or 1 to 3 business days. You can check out our hands-on with the iPad Air here.
Apple’s new Retina iPad mini is available to ship within 1-10 business days depending on the model. Users are also able to utilize the online Reserve and Pick Up service to get iPads faster locally in retail stores.
