Future Shop, Best Buy: Trade-In iPhone 4/4S for iPhone 5S, Get $150-$200 Credit

If you currently have an iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S and are looking to upgrade, both Future Shop and Best Buy have some trade-in offers for your old phone towards the new iPhone 5s.

Here are the trade-in values for the gift cards you will receive, which can apply to an iPhone 5s two-year term:

  • iPhone 4 – $100 credit; drops 16GB iPhone 5s to $129.99
  • iPhone 4S – $150 credit; drops 16GB iPhone 5s to $79.99
  • BONUS: New 2-year activations on Rogers, Telus and Bell get an additional $50 off. So that brings your trade-in values to $150 and $200 respectively.

Sure, you can probably get a higher value from selling your old iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S on eBay or Craigslist, but if you ‘ain’t got time for dat’ then this might be a decent deal.
Also, the iPhone 5c is currently on sale too, $99.99 on a 2-year term, which is $30 off.

Also, the 16GB Wi-Fi iPad Air is $20 off.

Let us know if you’re going to jump on these offers. The sales start today and go until November 28th.

Does this apply to existing Telus subscribers? My contract currently expired and I’m on a month to month with an iPhone4. Would I be able to keep my current plan as well?

No, only to new activation. Just like you, a have an iPhone 4 and my contract ended in August with Rogers, and I wish to upgrade, but they told me that this promotion is only for if I activate for the first time with Bell, Telus, or Rogers. Well, wait till I phone up Rogers and tell them I’ll be leaving them after being their customer for 12 years so I could become a first time activation with Telus! I wonder what they will do! Hmm… Who comes up with these stupid promos?
