For those thinking about ordering an iPad Air from Apple.ca with a guaranteed delivery date by Christmas Eve, you’re already too late as the deadline was yesterday.
However, signs might be looking up as Apple has improved its ‘available to ship’ estimates to 3 to 5 days for its Canadian and American online stores, after previously falling to 5 to 7 days back in mid-November from 24 hours.

Just a couple days ago ‘available to ship’ estimates for the iPhone 5s improved to 1 to 3 days.
These improvements in estimated ship times point to Apple successfully increasing its supply for holiday demand. Other Apple online stores worldwide including the UK, France and Australia similarly show these updated shipping estimates.
