Roam Mobility has announced all global text plans will now include free premium SMS, set to roll out in the next few months.
Premium SMS means users can now subscribe to content delivered via texts, such as news alerts, promotions, social network updates and more. But more importantly, Roam Mobility emphasizes premium SMS has previously been a requirement for Uber verification, which will now work for customers roaming in the USA.
The company says customers do not need to upgrade their SIM cards for premium SMS, as the feature will automatically roll out to all Roam Mobility customers—all that is required is a plan with Global text.
Earlier this month Roam Mobility announced 4G LTE is now available for their customers traveling down south, and more features are soon to come.
