Apple Pulls WhatsApp, Others from China App Store per Govt. Directive
Apple on Friday removed WhatsApp, Threads, Telegram, and Signal from its App Store in China, per orders from the country's government
Apple has released a statement to the Wall Street Journal in regards to their iOS 8.0.1 update, which has been pulled after it killed cellular coverage and Touch ID:
We have received reports of an issue with the iOS 8.0.1 update. We are actively investigating these reports and will provide information as quickly as we can. In the meantime we have pulled back the iOS 8.0.1 update.”
