Popcorn Time for iOS is Working Again After Domain Attack

Popcorn time ios afterdawn

Popcorn Time for iOS went live last month for all jailbroken iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices in the Cydia store as a free app, downloadable through a dedicated repo. Unfortunately though, a domain attack and its removal led to some downtime of Popcorn Time’s repository. But now, iOS users will be able to use Popcorn Time on their devices once again.

In order to grab the Popcorn Time app for iOS, simply add the following new repo to the Cydia sources to download it:

http://cydia.popcorn-time.se

Furthermore, the developers are working on a permanent stable solution for non jailbroken devices as well. We’ll be sure to update you once that is ready.

Do you enjoy using Popcorn Time on your iPhone / iPad?

Yes I do enjoy PopCorn Time on my iPad jailbroken on iOS 7.0.2. BUT would love to see that on my new iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8.1 bec 8.1 killed the date trick I used earlier to get Popcorn time and MovieBox while running iOS 8.0-8.0.2.

Hope they can find a permanent solution to Get this on iOS 8.1 and later without jailbreak soon enough.

Hi guys, apologies for not getting back earlier..I’ve just received an update from the devs and it appears there was a redirect from that address to the original Cydia repo i.e “http://cydia.popcorn-time.se”..I’ve also updated the post with this link.

Plz verify and report back, as I don’t have a jailbroken device at hand to test. Thanks!

Feck Hollyweird!!! They’re only worth pennies but charge dollars. As long as you pay for one movie in a year, the rest is fair game; this is NOT piracy, but fair market value! Fucktards!
