808 Audio Unveils New Ear Cup Suspension Technology Headphones

Performer Colors-2

You may remember a while back I had a review of a few portable speaker systems from 808 Audio. I really liked not only the design but the sound quality. The company is now unveiling its new Performer and Performer BT headphones that sport new ear cup suspension technology.

Inspired by a high-end studio microphone mount, the Performer’s suspension ear cups are the first of its kind. They provide the best possible ergonomic fit for heads of all sizes, adjusting to the user’s ears with great acoustic sealing and enhanced noise isolation.

Once again, 808 Audio has turned to the DJs to help design these headphones and with the help of sound engineers, the company feels it can deliver some of the best sounding audio for every listeners taste.

Sound engineers and influential DJs including EDM DJ and producer, Audien, hand-selected the Performer’s robust features, ensuring they are perfect for both casual listeners and professionals. The Performer offers consumers a substantial headphone made with quality materials at a reasonable price point.

Performer White

The Performer headphones will come in a variety of colours and two different models. You can get them with a detachable cable for $79.99 US. Or for $99.99 US you can pick up the wireless Bluetooth model which will feature a 15 hour rechargeable battery. The new Performer headphones will be showcased at CES in January, and 808 Audio hopes to start shipping them in early 2015. You can sign up on their website to get more information and to be notified when they officially go on sale.

808 Audio will be sending me the Perfomer headphones for review, so stay tuned to iPhoneinCanada and my YouTube channel for a full review.

And, as a thank you to our loyal readers, 808 Audio wants to give one of you one of their Canz Bluetooth Wireless Speakers. So all you have to do is leave a comment below and let me know how much music you have on your iOS devices. I’ll pick a random winner in one week – November 10th, 2014 – and the Canz will be sent to you. Best of luck.

UPDATE

Congratulations to BrodieTheDog. He is the winner of the Canz Bluetooth Speaker. Thank you to all of you who entered the giveaway.

I have my 80gb Zune almost full and my 16gb Nexus about half of music. Looking forward to your review of the BT headphones as I currently use a pair of LG BT headphones but really need a pair of over ear to drown out coworkers.

Have an Iphone 5S 16gb. I have 349 songs mostly 80’s ‘cuz I belong to this generation. I wonder how it feels like to listen using the all new headset from 808 audio especially the song “In The Air Tonight” by Phil Collins. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

I have 18 gigs of music on my phone and I maxed out my iTunes Match storage. Something like 25000 songs. Include all the various music apps I have and I virtually have and unlimited music collection. I have the music going just about all the time where ever I am.
