Warning to any would-be-buyers. Keep in mind that the equipment used by law enforcement officers is regularly maintained and calibrated consistent with legal requirements/case law. This is not. So if one day you find yourself borderline legal limit on this device and suddenly turn out to be over when stopped by police, that may be the issue. Also who knows how accurate this thing is in the first place. Buyer beware and use common sense! If you’re not sure if you should drive after having a few drinks, then err on the side of caution and don’t!

PC Mag review (1 out of 5 stars):
“The BACtrack Vio shouldn’t be used to gauge whether or not you’re sober enough to drive, as it’s not a reliable or accurate breathalyzer. Unfortunately, it’s not sufficiently accurate to be used as a novelty item, either.”
I bought one of the previous models sold through the deals section and had similar results. Readings were very inconsistent attempt after attempt. Enough for me to say it was basically useless.
