iTunes Connect 2014 Holiday Shutdown Set for Dec. 22-29

Apple has notified developers iTunes Connect will have its annual shutdown for the holidays, starting December 22-29 this year. This means any app updates, prices changes or approvals will be paused during this period as employees get time off, with this year adding an extra day compared to 2013.

Every year developers tend to make their apps free or on sale just prior to the shutdown to target new iOS device owners, which always results in huge downloads once the holiday period is over.
