Here’s a Peek Inside the New Chongqing Apple Store in China [PICS]
Earlier this month, Apple unveiled the glass cylinder entrance architecture of its new retail store under construction in Chongqing, China. Today, some exclusive photos of the new store have been posted on Taisy which appear to have originated from MacX, revealing an interior that is reminiscent of the spiral staircase in the iconic glass cube store on Fifth Avenue in New York (via 9to5Mac).

Apple removed the mural today ahead of tomorrow’s 10am opening, revealing the glass cylinder entrance of its brand new store. Looking at the interior photo (below), we can notice the continuation of Apple’s focus on art on the walls at its retail stores. As with other glass-entrance Apple stores, the interior is deceptively large as well. Take a look at the photos and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Not a big enough market for us to have these kind of “landmark” stores in Canada.
Sad, but true. Maybe one day.
Nice entrance, but the same as every other Apple store otherwise.
