Apple Celebrates the Chinese New Year with New Video Ad
As pointed out by 9to5Mac, Apple has today updated its Chinese website with a new video ad in celebration of the Chinese New Year, which is quite similar to “The Song” ad Apple aired for the United States during this Christmas and holiday season.

The Chinese New Year ad is not only significant because it is Apple’s first, but is also important as it comes at a time when the company is growing rapidly in the region. The ad shows a granddaughter taking advantage of the company’s software and hardware to convert a vintage audio recording to a format playable on an iPad, in contrast to the U.S. version which showed a behind-the-scenes tour of the ad’s creation.
