Social dating app Hinge has expanded its service to Toronto. The service, which has been growing in popularity in the United States, leverages Facebook to only connect people who are already friends of friends.

Toronto is the second city outside of the United States where the app is functional. Last week, the service launched in London, England, and the company is preparing for a launch in Sydney, Australia.

According to the company, the service sets up an average of 35,500 dates every week. Founder and CEO of Hinge Justin McLeod said that their service is more accountable than anyone else’s because it uses the friend of a friend connection method. They say that this is more likely to be successful because it’s more like how people meet in real life.

“We hit the point where we’d hit most of the big cities in the U.S. The main focus for 2015 is international growth.”

Hinge is available as a free download from the App Store. The app requires any device running iOS 7 or later and has been optimized for the iPhone 5. The service is currently available in NYC, SF, L.A., DC, Seattle, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, Philly, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Denver, Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Omaha, Phoenix, San Diego, Detroit, Portland, Charlotte, Raleigh, Pittsburgh, Columbus, New Orleans, Cleveland, Nashville, Albany, Cincinnati, Kansas City, London and Toronto.
