Spotify Confirms its Disco Ball App Icon Will be Retired This Week
The standard Spotify app logo replaced by the disco ball refresh. Many of whom didn't take a strong liking to it.
theScore’s Dedicated eSports App Launches for iPhone
Last month theScore launched a dedicated eSports app for Android and noted an iOS equivalent was coming soon. The launch of the company’s eSports iOS app was supposed to take place yesterday, but the iTunes outage put a damper on things.
TheScore’s eSports app is now available for iPhone users in the App Store and here’s what it offers:
We’ve got breaking news and live scoring coverage of major games including:
- League of Legends (NA LCS, EU LCS, LCK and LPL regions)
- Live scoring coverage of more games and regions will be added soon.
As well as breaking news coverage of:
- Dota 2
- Counter-Strike: GO
- Call of Duty
- StarCraft II
- Hearthstone
- Coverage of more games will be added soon.
John Levy, Founder and CEO of theScore, said in a statement “We were blown away by the reception to the launch of theScore eSports by professional gaming fans from all over the world and its great we can now bring that experience to those oniOS devices too.”
Gamers from various eSports leagues compete against each other for millions of dollars in prize money. Some gamers even earn scholarships for their gaming abilities. Time to re-think your day job, folks.
