‘iPhone 6s’ to Come Out in August, Supply Chain Sources Suggest
If you are anticipating the arrival of the next generation iPhone in the fall, you may want to start saving now. The latest rumour claims the iPhone 6s and its bigger brother will come out in August, as suppliers have seen better-than-expected yield, the United Daily News reports citing anonymous supply chain sources (via GforGames).

Generally when it comes to forthcoming generation iPhones, we are used to reading reports about delayed launch due to low yield. We don’t even have to cast out minds back too far, just remember the launch of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus: you had to wait a good while until you were able to grab your iPhone 6 Plus unit.
According to UDN, Apple suppliers have received a large amount of new orders from the iPhone maker. Skyworks, for example, will increase production in June to increase shipments. By the way, Apple placed the biggest new order for the power amplifier (PA).
While the next generation iPhone will be similar to the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, it will have some nifty new advanced configurations. Some of which could be the Force Touch introduced with the Apple Watch, an upgraded camera, and the use of liquid metal or other, more inflexible material to avoid (the) bending (feature) of the device.

Remember when the new iPhones came out in June? Ahhhh dem were da days………
Yeah, I think it was the iPhone 4 that was the last June one.
If yields are better, the so much better to stockpile and have more units available for the launch month, in Sept. My contract is up next March, so I’ve got time.
I call bullshit! 🙂
unlikely. iPhone 6 and 6+ are selling like crazy. Apple would probably milk this rather than hurry into releasing a new update. There is no competition out there right now.
hmm. you must’ve just heard of the iphone do be oblivious to the iphone’s history.
not august…we know that much. it will be september (again). Fekete’s writings are logical guesses based on historical improvements. however, he left out the [likely] fact about the faster CPU and more RAM (1GB–>2GB). All iPhones should start with 32 GB and no longer have the puny 16 GB option.
