
Massive ‘Beats1’ Billboard Hits Times Square Ahead of Apple Music Launch [PIC]
With less than one week until its launch, the Apple Music marketing machine is well underway. Earlier today we learned Pharrell Williams will debut his new single ‘Freedom’ exclusively on Apple Music.
Now, Apple has placed a massive billboard in Times Square in New York City, advertising its “Worldwide. Always on.” radio stations, which includes Beats1, as shared by DJ Zane Lowe, a recent hire by the iPhone maker:

Less than a week ago we saw curated Canadian radio stations show up in the latest iOS 8.4 and iOS 9 betas. As of a few days ago, Beats1 is now showing as the headline station within Canada for iOS beta users:
Apple Music is set to launch worldwide in 100 countries, which at this point should include Canada. The only thing we don’t know yet is what the final price will be, as US pricing has been set at $9.99 and $14.99 for individual and family plans, respectively.
