
Apple Kills iOS 9 Jailbreak, Officially Credits Pangu Team
Apple released iOS 9.1 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices earlier today and while the update fixes tons of security vulnerabilities, turns out it also kills iOS 9 Pangu jailbreak. What’s interesting is that Apple has detailed 49 separate security vulnerabilities it has patched in an updated security documentation, and has officially credited Pangu Team for two of the fixes, the Chinese jailbreak team who released the first jailbreak tool for devices running iOS 9 earlier this month.

Impact: A malicious application may be able to elevate privileges
Description: A heap based buffer overflow issue existed in the DNS client library. A malicious application with the ability to spoof responses from the local configd service may have been able to cause arbitrary code execution in DNS clients.

Once you update to iOS 9.1, your existing iOS 9.0-9.0.2 jailbreak will be removed permanently. So if you wish to keep your jailbreak alive, then it is recommended that you stay clear from today’s update till we hear more form the jailbreak team, regarding a possible untethered jailbreak for iOS 9.1.
