Fido, Virgin Match Koodo’s BYOD $34/1GB Canada-Wide Plan [Quebec]

Last month Koodo launched a promo in Quebec, discounting their $40 per month Canada-wide plan to $34, which includes 1GB of data. Now, it appears Fido and Virgin have matched Koodo, offering the exact same plan for a “limited time”:

This means if you were on the $40/1GB plan before, now is the time to call in and get switched over to the promo plan, to save you $6 per month.

Fido, Koodo—and Virgin Mobile— right now are offering the same BYOD $57 Canada-wide calling plan with 2GB of data as a promo, available nationwide as well.

Amazing what just one extra major mobile carrier does for competition (Videotron in Quebec, Sasktel in Saskatchewan…)

I went to a koodo kiosk at Fairview Mall, chatted the rep up, and she helped me get the $34 plan. I live in Toronto. I was on the $35 plan, but now I pay $1 less for 700mb more.
