Back to School 2016: Apple Offers Beats Solo2 Wireless Headphones with Mac Purchases

Apple today kicked off its annual Back to School offer in Canada and the US, throwing in a pair of Beats Solo2 Wireless Headphones ($329.95 value) for those who buy an iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, or Mac Pro. The Mac mini doesn’t appear as an “eligible” Mac, as usual.
Those opting for an iPhone 6/6s, 6/6s Plus or iPad Pro, will get a pair of Powerbeats2 Wireless Headphones – more precisely, they will get an instant credit in the amount of $219.95. To upgrade to the Beats Solo2 Wireless Headphones, they must pay the remaining balance of $110 following application of the instant credit.
Apple’s Back to School promotion runs from today, June 2, through September 5, 2016. This year’s promotion mirrors that of last year, when Apple offered a Beats Solo2 On-Ear headphones – valued at $219.95 – for eligible purchases. Previously, Apple’s Back to School promotion brought gifts cards alongside eligible purchases.

They decided to go for wireless headphones this year. Staying away from 3.5mm headphone jack
interesting!!
Phasing out wired headlines when wireless in ear but styles are still only lasting 3-4 hours max?
Sucks for those of us that purchased an iPad Pro just over 15 days ago…
You should ask Apple for the free headphones. Others who bought a mac from the past 30 days have gotten the free headphones.
