Virgin Mobile Offers Double Data Promo, 1000 International Minutes on Select Plans
Virgin Mobile has released a new promo offering 1,000 international long distance minutes to the majority of their plans, matching a move from competitors Fido and Koodo Mobile, as expected.

Long distance minutes are available to: India, Germany, China, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, United Kingdom, Italy, Mexico, Australia and Taiwan. Virgin, however, wants all members to fill out a form to see if they qualify for the bonus 1000 minutes.
The company’s BYOD plans have also matched the double the data offer from Koodo Mobile and Fido. Again, nothing really to see here, other than Virgin Mobile has matched the exact same plans as Fido and Koodo Mobile, as we expected they would.
If you’re on an older plan that is not as good as these current plans, call in today and make the switch.

Stuff like this should be banned. There is no competition in Canada thanks to these companies. This is called a cartel!
Strange that CRTC and the Government doesn’t see this and ignores it.
I would normally agree, but that Public Mobile offer that came out today looks pretty decent
Yep 4gb for 38$ per month is great !
Looks like it’s a one-time thing (not 1000 minutes per month for example) but I didn’t see if there’s an expiry date. I can’t see ever needing to call those countries and I’m not a new activation anyway.
I know this plan isn’t offered anymore but do not go with Virgin Mobile. Five different customer care specialists initially told me each line will have the bonus 1000 minutes added but then said I didn’t qualify because I have two lines on one account. Even during my sign up process it was not clairified.
