What’s New in iOS 10.3 Beta 2 [VIDEO]

iOS 10.3 beta 2 was released to developers yesterday, and like clockwork, YouTube channel EverythingApplePro has posted a video detailing 25 changes in this latest release. Let’s detail some notable differences in this second beta of iOS 10.3.

The most notable change was the Apple File System (APFS) in iOS 10.3 beta 2, which optimizes SSD storage, plus has encryption engineered within it.

If you like to charge your Apple Pencil with your iPhone, it now works, being able to charge beyond 5%.

In Apple Maps, the 3D globe view is gone—the earth is now flat.

In Apple Music, playlists can have songs rearranged when Repeat is enabled.

Settings came with a new iCloud profile last time, and now system messages are now shown there too, such as detailing when an iCloud backup has failed.

For App Store reviews, you can now 3D Touch to rate whether reviews are helpful or not. When leaving reviews, you no longer need your iTunes password.

On the iOS keyboard, the emoji icon is now inverted.

Safari now has an option for ‘Paste and Search’ when you paste a URL in the address bar (previously Paste and Go). The app knows when you’re pasting either a URL or word.
