Toronto Police Launches New Distracted Driving Campaign

Today, the Toronto Police Traffic Services has launched their “That Text or Call Could End It All” campaign. The campaign will run from Monday, February 20 through Sunday, February 26, 2017.

The goal of the safety campaign is to highlight the dangerous implications associated to distracted driving, which can be defined as any activity that takes your attention off the road. For example, this can include texting, calling, eating, or reading (yes, believe it or not, I’ve seen people read newspapers while driving).

Toronto Police will use a variety of vehicles to catch drivers committing distracted driving actions, including fully marked and undercover vehicles.
