Exclusive Koogeek HomeKit Sale: Save $40 with These Promo Codes

Haven’t made the plunge yet for your first HomeKit product? Check out the exclusive sale on Koogeek’s HomeKit lineup just for iPhone in Canada readers.

We’ve managed to get some promo codes for each of Koogeek’s HomeKit products, so you can save and get started with your connected home.

The company’s WiFi Smart Plug Outlet is normally $39.99 on Amazon.ca, but promo code SSJ8P6G9 will take $10 off, bringing it down to $29.99, close to its lowest price ever according to tracker CamelCamelCamel. We have this HomeKit smart plug and it works great. Using Siri to control anything is pretty seamless. Be aware this plug only works on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks.

For those looking to get a Smart Switch, Koogeek’s offering retails for $59.99, but promo code QA3L9QFG takes $15 off, taking the price down to $44.99. The advantages of controlling a switch means even more possibilities with Siri. The switch could control your bedroom nights so all you have to do is tell Siri to turn off the lights for bed.

thanks, I guess I’ll have to ask them what’s the problem. I did what you did, I turned off the wifi on my iphone, the LTE is on nice and strong, 3 bullets on Fido and it said “Sorry Thomas, I did not hear back from your devices”. I is only talking to the internet via the wifi. weird

I checked the settings and the cellular data button was ON on the Koogeek home app, by default because I did not turn it off,

Have you updated your koogeek? Out of the box, they are an update behind.

I didn’t see anyplace in the app to offer me to check for an update, there is nothing about the firmware updates. How do you know there are one update behind out of the box?

I bought one on the 19th. It arrived. Opened it, set it up…and it was acting very odd and unresponsive. I can’t remember how, but I figured it was and firmware update issue, so that’s what I did.

Is it possible that I need to update the firmware like Dale Ryan says below? I can’t figure out how to update the firmware or how to even check if it needs an update. Thanks

They told us the codes are only limited to one per customer. So that may the issue. If you have another amazon account, the code will work fine again.
