Apple has teamed up with French designer Balmain on special editions of its Beats Studio Wireless and Powerbeats3 headphones.
In both cases the headphones use a unique “Safari” colour with metallic gold accents, and contain Balmain branding. Customers who purchase the headphones will also get a matching suede case featuring a Balmain plaque and a coin zipper.
To market the devices both companies have partnered with model Kylie Jenner, who is appearing in photos and video, including a post on her Instagram feed.
The Balmain Studio Wireless headphones cost $599.95, well above the standard $379.95. On the other hand, the Balmain Powerbeats3 cost $249.95, which is not much more expensive than the regular product’s $199.95.
Unfortunately, both headphones appear to only be available in the United States at the current time.
